A huge crowd gathered on a beautiful fall day to witness a truly
strong event. Quality Angus bulls were in strong demand. Seven bulls
sold for $5,000 or more. Charolais offering was very strong but saw
limited interest. Each bull received a 331/3 lb Diamond Protein and
Energy block compliments of Cargill Animal Nutrition. Volume buying
honors went to Mike Urrutea, Friant, CA. The sale was up $440 per
bull over the 2008 event. Another top event for the breeders
involved. |
