A beautiful fall day greeted a modest size crowd to “The Event” for 2009. Cattle sold at modest prices to buyers from three states. A nice turnout of Junior members bid actively on the show prospects. Junior members Hannah Gnech, Macdoel, CA and Dayton Stafford, Prineville, OR were the winners of sets of
animal clippers. All other juniors in attendance received a nylon halter. Pie & ice cream were a big hit after the sale. The event hosted by Chase Classic Angus, Powell Butte, OR; Finch Angus, Warden, WA, and guest consignor, Barry Angus, Madras, OR had everything in top order. Many good buys were made throughout the day.
